The New MILF Generation

I've been meaning to do this for a while (for all of 3 days), and I figured today was as good as any to actually post in my blog.

Lately, it ocurred to me that mothers of today (or just the rich ones who dominate pop culture and the media) are getting, in a word, hotter. How much hotter? It's practically the first rule in the manual that a new celebmommy must pose nude (or, at least, with breasts on display) as soon as everything rounds out to a nice size. For the most part, woman are actually being celebrated for their curves and forgiven (a little) for not shrinking back to a size 2 a week after their children are born. (No, I have not forgotten Samantha Harris of Dancing With the Stars announcing her pregnancy amid internet rumors that she'd gotten implants, nor have I forgotten Sam working out 2 weeks after having her daughter so she could return to work a month after her daughter's birth.) It seems that Hollywood is more forgiving, even celebratory of beautiful women doing something natural that isn't easy to corrupt, fake or (in spite of their best efforts) abuse for publicity.

Where was I going with this? Oh, yes. Hotness. More specifically, that point I was trying to make a while back about sexiness lying in innate confidence. No matter how long a career someone has had, or how often they're tabloid fodder, nothing can actually make someone take an interest in them. (Are you listening Associated Press? I know you've got a reporter dedicated to Britney 24/7...find this person some real work, please.) Either they can engage an audience or they can't. Either they can work a camera or they can't. Either the world hangs on their every word, and drools over every pic, or they're just not going to be paid attention to.

I'm having trouble putting into words what makes the celebmommies of today so hot, but maybe that's the point. It isn't just one thing (except boobies, we like those), it's everything. Some people just glow and that kind of warm energy radiates from them long after they've had their offspring. Again, big boobies don't hurt. Matter of fact, as I hinted in my high-five today, that's almost the point.

Is this why there's pregnancy fetish porn? I always wondered where that fascination came from and I just assumed it was from viewers who either hadn't been breast fed enough or had been for far too long. Perhaps someone who watches it can give insight. ;-) Then again, as far as the porn is concerned, maybe I don't want to know. Let me just assume it's because they're beautiful and leave it at that.
